I am exceedingly sorry that I missed the ice storms of yesterday. It seems I am always at work when the winter shrouds the land in the dress of snow or ice. I love winter. Some people think I am strange and when I say I "Love Winter," they ask if I ski. No I do not ski. I just happen to Love the solitude of winter, the laid back days, the cozy feeling one gets while sipping coffee and watching the snow fall. When the trees become adorned in ice, I think there is nothing so mysterious as this. An ice laden tree bending toward the ground, draped in sparkling diamond ice is, to me, gorgeous. The only thing I like as much as this is the sparkling of snow on a very crisp cold winter day when the snow looks like a fairy has dusted the ground in glitter.
I am sad sometimes that life requires that I speed towards work merely worrying about the clock while the earth is making beauty all around me and as the sun rises on the glorious ice and snow, I am busy with my work.
I wonder sometimes if money is worth missing these things...........

Staring at the Moon from Aruba
Soon I will be standing on the sandy beaches of Aruba and staring up at the Moon. A lovely pastime after spending hours in the sun. After seeing the Sunset that is so breathtaking, having a cocktail and enjoying the reflection of the Moon on the water is one of my favorite things to do. How can we choose between the Sun and the Moon? I love them both but the Moon offers more mystery and more promise. The promise of tomorrow lives in the Moon in the Evening. The moon stands guard over us all while we wait for the Rising Sun.
I Love the Moon more than the Sun I guess because it stands for newness. Promise of a New Day. The Moon gives us Hope to right the wrongs of the Day in a New Tomorrow. The Moon is a little more Flirty than the Sun. Shrouded in mystery it calls us silently and soulfully to HOPE.
If I could travel to the Moon I somehow feel I could come back refreshed. It smiles at me. It calls me. I have no power to resist......
The Moon gives me solace. I can talk with The Moon. The Sun only beats on me and makes me sweat......the moon rejuvenates me..........
Good Night Moon
